Learning is an inherently social process, but many of our online initiatives are isolating, separating learners from each other and failing to engage beyond the ‘next’ button. If we want to create moments of critical thought, real problem-solving learning, then we need to bring the social back.
However, talking isn’t teaching.
Making effective social learning experiences isn’t often an accident. More often it is a deliberate and well thought-out process, which takes expertise to scaffold and facilitate.
This workshop will explore a successful model for the creation of a social learning experience, that encourages inspiration, instruction and integration.
